Marrakech – Welcome to Morocco

You’ll be greeted by your private tour guide upon your arrival at Menara airport in Marrakech. Your guide will take you to your hotel to get checked in and settled before heading out to the world famous Jemaa El Fna square, where you will be entertained by storytellers, magicians, snake-charmers, acrobats and many more.

Marrakech – Guided Trip

Enjoy a buffet breakfast at your hotel before heading out for a day of sightseeing in Marrakech. Your knowledgeable English-speaking private tour guide will regale you with stories as he leads you through the awe-inspiring Saadian tombs, Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, El Badi Palace, and Dar Si Said museum. After breakfast, you’ll make your way to Essaouira, one of the most enjoyable and attractive coastal towns in all of Morocco. Its charm is undeniable with its blue-shuttered houses, wood workshops, art galleries, colorful fishing boats. The town is surrounded by large sandy beaches!

Essaouira – Agadir –Taroudant

Today you’ll travel to Taroudant through the amazing coastal road passing through Argan forests and Berber villages. You’ll stop in Agadir to visit the Kasbah Agadir Ouflah. You will enjoy an authentic lunch with a Berber family. Take the opportunity to learn more about the traditional culture and lifestyle. As you continue on your way, enjoy picturesque landscapes while your private tour guide shares stories of the sites you visit. Tonight, you’ll stay in an authentic palace in Taroudant.

Taroudant – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah

After Breakfast, depart toward Ouarzazate. On the way, you’ll stop at the 500-year-old most interesting Dodi Synagogue in the fascinating Berber village of Arazane, where an ancient genizah was recently discovered. Visit the scenic villages of Taliouine where an old Synagogue has been preserved intact for centuries. Take a guided trip with our local private tour guide to discover the queen of the south-east “Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah”.

Ouarzazate – Tinghir – Erfoud – Sijilmassa – Merzouga

Delight in a full breakfast before continuing on the road through Dades Valley to the M’gouna oasis famous for its roses. You’ll visit the magnificent Todgha Gorges in Tinghir. Gain insight into the Jewish history and life in the southeastern part of Morocco by visiting Erfoud, famous for its fossils, workshops and yearly date festival.

You’ll arrive in Merzouga where you’ll be greeted with a refreshing glass of Moroccan mint tea. From here, you will start your camel trek accompanied by a skilled private tour guide to enjoy the sunset over the golden dunes in the Erg-Chebbi. Enjoy a delicious dinner while being entertained with traditional music and drums. You have the opportunity to overnight in a Berber tent. Wake-up early to enjoy the magic sunrise over dunes of Merzouga. Please don’t miss up this moment! You’ll head to Rissani or Sijilmassa (the gate of Sahara) to Visit the 150 years old synagogue and the Jewish quarter (Mellah).

After lunch in Rissani, you’ll continue your journey to Fez via the palms’ Oasis, Midelt, the Atlas mountains and the cedar forests. Stop in Ifrane, the Swiss village, to cherish the nature & to photograph panoramic views.

Full Day in Fez

Start the day with a visit of the Mellah, the old synagogues and the ancient cemeteries in Fez Medina. Visit one of the most charming places in Morocco, ” the Royal Palace”. Walk in the twisted alleys of the old Medina (the original Arab heritage), assisted by our local private tour guide to discover the handicraft quarters and colorful tanneries. Visit the so-called Maimonides House. Take some time to discover Fez on your own before enjoying an evening of traditional music in the Fez Medina.

visit to Meknes – Rabat – Casablanca

Today, travel to Meknes, one of the imperial cities where a huge community of 15,000 Jews resided in 1950. Experience a private guided trip to the Mellah, where you will witness the remnant of a rich history within the walls of the 11 synagogues. Visit Rabbi David Benmidan’s tomb, who was the “Patron of Meknes” and drive along the walls and numerous amazing gates of the city to reach its market of spices and handicrafts. Take a moment to visit the famous gate Bab El Mansour and the El Hedim square. See the famous Moulay Ismail’s riding stables once home to 15,000 Arabian horses.
After lunch, drive to Rabat to discover the Mellah and the shrines of the Moroccan Kings. Reach the largest home of the Jewish community in Morocco, Casablanca. Overnight at your majestic accommodation in Casablanca.

Full day in Casablanca & Accommodation in Marrakesh

This morning, you’ll be taken on a guided trip to the Habous Quarter in the Medina. Explore Mohammed V & United Nations Square. Visit of the Hassan II Mosque, the biggest one in Africa. Visit of the street of seven synagogues and the Kosher Bakery. Discover the Jewish Museum in the Mellah (Jewish Quarter) and the Beth-el Synagogue.
