11-Day Morocco Tour Exploration

Majestic Fortnight Morocco Tour’s Program:

Day 1 – Casablanca

Upon arrival to the economic capital of Morocco Casablanca, your private driver will meet and escort you from the airport to your Casablanca hotel, where you will check-in and relax. Depending on the arrival time, you may enjoy a visit to the Hassan II mosque, one of the most elaborately designed mosques in North Africa! Dinner will be served in your hotel.

Day 2 –  Fes

After breakfast, you will travel with your driver to Fes. On the route, you will make a stop in Rabat, the capital city. You will enjoy this Imperial city, with its monuments Hassan Tower, Chellah, etc. You will take your time to your lunch and enjoy this beautiful coastal city. After lunch, we will continue traveling to the spiritual capital of Morocco, Fes city. You will have dinner at the riad.

Day 3 – A guided tour in Fes

Fes is an imperial religious city in Morocco because of its Islamic traditions.

Start this one day tour in Fes with a visit to the royal palace and take the best pictures in front of its traditional gates.

Next, we will stop at Mellah, and this was the quarter of Jewish people in the past. Now it’s full of traditional stores. You can find Judaica, Shabbat, Hanukkah, and Moroccan spices. We will have stops at the Jewish Synagogue, the Jewish cemetery, and tombs of Silica.

Our next destination will be the Old Medina, enjoy walking in the tiny streets, and buy some gifts from the traditional souks.

DAY 4: FES / MIDELT / ERRACHIDIA- ERFOUD

After breakfast, we leave for our next destination Midelt passing by the Middle Atlas mountains and the cedars of passing Ifran, a pleasant resort and Azrou which is an important craft center specializing in woodworking. After the passage of Zad, we stop at Midelt for lunch, and in the afternoon we hid the road to Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz valley with its beautiful palm trees.

Have dinner and spend a calm night at your hotel.

DAY 5: ERFOUD / RISSANI / MERZOUGA

Today is a new journey, where we will head to the middle of Sahara dunes and enjoy the desert. We will stop by the Berber towns of Mellab and Touroug. Pass by Rissani, where we will have lunch. Enjoy your way to the Ziz green oasis of palm trees before we arrive at Merzouga. Later we will enjoy relaxing bathing in the warm waters. Then have a traditional Moroccan dinner and listen to Berber music. Spend the night in a Riad.

DAY 6: MERZOUGA TO DADES GORGE

After an early breakfast, you have to watch the sunrise in the middle of Morocco Sahara, enjoy the panoramic view, the start today tour with a visit to the cliffs of Todra Gorges and after the rocks of the Dades Gorge. Here you will have dinner and enjoy spending the night in a lovely guest-house at the edge of the river. 

DAY 7: DADES GORGE / SKOURA/ OUARZAZATE

Our destination today is Ouarzazate via the Dades Valley and the nomad caves where we will stop and have a glass of tea before continuing off-road to the oasis Skoura with old Kasbah and palms. Then we will visit the magnificent Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou in Ouarzazate, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. A local guide will follow you in the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, to describe the past living in this area, and to talk about the traditions and history of this attractive place. Have lunch and spend the night at your Berber hotel.

DAY 8: OUARZAZATE / AIT BEN HADDOU / MARRAKECH

After an early breakfast, enjoy your morning at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, and hit the road to Marrakech via the stunning Tiz’n Tichka, with spectacular scenery, Berber villages and different landscapes along the way. We arrive at Marrakech in the afternoon.

DAY 9: MARRAKECH FULL DAY

In this day tour of Marrakech, we will visit the Menara, a pool surrounded by flowerbeds. The guided tour will cover several attractive spots: Majorelle Gardens, The Koutoubia mosque, Bahia Palace, and Dar Si Said Palace museum of jewelry. Enjoy a delicious Moroccan lunch. Next, we will walk through the beautiful colorful souks of the red city. The sunset drink you will have overlooking Jemaa El Fna Square is spectacular, enjoy the panoramic view from the terrace of a cafe, have dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 10: MARRAKECH / IMLIL

The Atlas Mountains is one of the best destinations. Morocco Exotic Tours will make sure you enjoy the activities in the Berber villages, During today trip, you will across some Berber villages and enjoy the natural countryside views. Savor one of the delicious Berber dishes for lunch, and have a short walk with your guide before we go back to the red city.

Your trip is going to start After an early breakfast, your driver/guide will take you for 2 hours drive south passing by Moulay Brahim Gorges, and the Berber village of Asni. You will enjoy the beauty of Marrakech regions and fulfill your eyes with the magnificent landscapes. Then we will reach Imlil with its vibrant green valley.

Imlil is a famous village situated at the foothills of Toubkal mountain, the highest peaks in Morocco, a popular start point of treks and hikes to climbing the mountains of Toubkal. 

Once we arrive at Imlil, we should leave the vehicle and ride mules. The ride will take around 40 minutes towards the south. Our next direction is a Berber house in the same town to have lunch. 

DAY 11: DEPARTURE OUT OF MARRAKECH
