Majestic Fortnight Morocco Tour’s Program:

Day 1: Casablanca Arrival

After your arrival at Casablanca airport, you will meet our professional driver who will take you to your hotel.

Your journey is going to start the time when our representative will provide you with a brief overview of this Morocco tour.

Day 2: Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes, Fes

Meet your driver in your hotel or Riad after an early breakfast. Our first destination is Fes. The road to this imperial city is full of farmlands where grain, vegetables, grapes, and olives are grown. You will have a stop at Meknes and Volubilis. Volubilis is an archaeological site that has the sight of the Roman ruins, and it’s left from the Roman Empire in Morocco. Then we will visit the Medersa Bou Inania and the bab Mansour in Meknes, the Gateway to Moulay Ismail Palace. Arrive into Fes, have dinner and overnight at your Riad.

Day 3: A guided tour in Fes

Our guided tour will help you today to explore Fes one of the imperial cities in Morocco. First, we will visit the old Medina, we will stop by the Jewish quarter called Mellah, and the royal palace, which is the biggest one in Morocco. Our next destination is one of the best attractions in the country, tanneries. Then we will visit the first university in the world called the Karaouine mosque now.

Savor some traditional Moroccan yummy food, and then experience a beautiful panoramic view of the city.  Overnight at your hotel or Riad with dinner and breakfast. Enjoy your time in Morocco with our experienced guides.

Day 4: Fes, Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen, Fes

Our day trip today starts at 8 AM. After breakfast, we will take the road toward Chefchaouen (the blue pearl). Chefchaouen is one of the best attractions in Morocco. It’s a small city situated in the Rif Mountains. This city is unique for its blue walls, traditional shops, old Medina, and some marvelous spots to visit. Have a walk and discover why Chefchaouen is a fantastic destination for photography with its beautiful views of the Rif Mountains. We will go back to Fes in the late afternoon.

Have lunch and overnight at your hotel or Riad for the next day’s adventures.

Day 5: Fes, Ifrane, Azrou, Ziz Valley, Erfoud, Merzouga

Today we will head to Merzouga via the Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane to arrive at the cedar forests of Azrou, which the land of some wild monkeys. Have lunch in a small Berber village. Enjoy the landscapes of Medilt to arrive in the small town of Rich, Erfoud, in which we’ll start the view of Morocco Sahara to stop by the oasis of Tafilalet. Then we head to Merzouga. The overnight recommendations will be in a hotel near the Sahara sands.

 

Day 6: Merzouga, Berber Families, Black Desert, Merzouga

Today you’ll start an explorative journey. We will visit Morocco Sahara. Have a camel ride and overnight under the stars. You will visit the village of Khamlia and learn about the lifestyle and music of Gnaoua people who came to Morocco as slaves from Sudan. Enjoy watching the flamingos along the lake of Merzouga. You may also like some Berber handicrafts in the nomad houses with low prices. Next, you will have a camel riding, enjoy the ride, and discover what’s hidden in the sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi. Have dinner and overnight in a traditional Berber nomad tent.

Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Jorf – Todra Gorges – Dades – Ouarzazat

After you take your breakfast in the morning, we’ll drive towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate, the Dades Valley. You will pass by thousands of kasbahs on your way, take the opportunities you will have to make the best photographic shots of the trip. We’ll stop at Kelaa Mgouna for flower water and then Continue to Skoura. You will visit the Kasbah Amridil. Take lunch and savor one of the delicious Moroccan Berber dishes, you will hike within the valley and then head to Ouarzazate, which is called Morocco Hollywood, it’s one of the best attractions in Morocco. Overnight at your Riad or hotel.

 

Day 8: Ouarzazate, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, Taroudant

On this day tour, we’ll head to Taroudant in the early morning. We will stop by Taznakht and then visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the most popular Kasbah in Morocco. T-Hami El Glaoui, who is one of the last Berber chieftains, built This small town during the beginning of the XXth Century. Ben Haddou Kasbah is now a UNESCO world heritage site. We continue to the capital of saffron in Morocco called Taliouine, and you have the option to stop by the Safran co-operative. Have the occasion to know more about the traditions and culture of the Berber people. In the afternoon, we will arrive at Taroudant, and then we will have a walk within the beautiful alleys in the Medina passing by the ramparts. The Saadian dynasty has built Taroudant and left their special touch on its buildings and walls, so it’s always referred to as “The little Marrakech.” The Saadians used it as their capital before they moved to Marrakech in the 16th century.

Day 9: Taroudant – Agadir – Essaouira

Have breakfast in your Riad, then let’s move to Essaouira to discover its beauty and its historical sites. We will first stop at Agadir, a resort city that was a massive tourist destination for many years. You will take lunch and savor some delicious Moroccan dishes. Then we will take a walk along the Promenade,  and we will head to Essaouira. The seashore road offers beautiful scenery, and the place is famous for the Argan trees. Here you will see goats climbing the Argan trees. After many stops along the coast, we get to Essaouira in the afternoon. Have lunch and Overnight at a riad in the old Medina.

Day 10: A guided tour in Essaouira

The first site to visit is the Skala Fortress, and we will see some wooden carving handicrafts. Today you will savor the best of Moroccan dishes for lunch. Have a walk in the afternoon and discover the spiritual atmosphere in this city. Essaouira is also popular with its windy weather. Tourists go to Essaouira beach to learn surf. There is a yearly festival of “Gnawa music,” which usually starts in the second week of June.

Day 11: Essaouira – Marrakech

After you take breakfast in your riad, we will leave for Marrakech. We will have a stop to visit the women’s co-operative of Argan oil, where they extract Argan that is famous for its culinary, cosmetic, and medicinal properties. After many stops, you will continue your travel to Marrakech and check in to your riad. It’s optional to have a walk within the famous square of Jemaa El Fna, entertained with magicians, storytellers, musicians, and snake charmers.

Day 12: A guided day tour in Marrakech

In this day tour of Marrakech, we will visit the Menara, a pool surrounded by flowerbeds. The guided tour will cover several impressive sights: The Koutoubia mosque, Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace, and Dar Si Said Palace museum of jewelry. Enjoy a delicious Moroccan lunch. Next, we will walk through the beautiful colorful souks of the red city. The sunset drink you will have overlooking Jemaa El Fna Square is spectacular, enjoy the panoramic view from the terrace of a cafe, have dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Marrakech – Ouzoud Waterfalls – The Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

The Ouzoud waterfalls day trip will start after you take breakfast when your guide or driver picks you up from your hotel. After a two-hour drive from Marrakech, you will reach Ouzoud. Enjoy the stunning and varied countryside with amazing landscapes along the road. Ouzoud is in a valley within a friendly Berber village that embraces three beautiful tiered waterfalls with a series of spectacular full to tapering plunges that drop  360.892 feet into the river below. Ouzoud Village is one of Morocco’s very fascinating places to stop by. Once you arrive at this beautiful place, you will stop to savor a delicious lunch at one of the outstanding restaurants surrounded by blue-green trees or experience some of the best traditional Moroccan dishes. You’ll have to walk down the falls with the help of a local guide. You will reach the bottom of the falls. You will pass over the water pools on a flatboat being dragged by locals using cables.

We will return to Marrakech in the evening. Have lunch and overnight at your Riad.

Day 14: Marrakech, Atlas Mountains, Ourika Valley, Marrakech

The Depart will be from your hotel or Riad in Marrakech after you have your breakfast. The road from Marrakech to Ourika, filled with marvelous landscapes. We will drive across some Berber villages that show the charming of Marrakech regions. First, we will stop at one of the Moroccan Berber houses. You will have the occasion to discover the rooms in the house, the traditional dishes used by local people. The panoramic view of the village from the terrace will please you. Now, time to enjoy a traditional Moroccan breakfast made of some natural and healthy food like olive oil, honey, jam, soup, and bread. Our next stop will be at Setti Fatma, and it’s a famous village in the Atlas Mountains. We will hike to Ourika waterfalls for about one and a half-hour. Enjoy nature, drink fresh water, and don’t forget to take pictures of the beautiful views of Ourika village. Finally, after the hike, your next destination is a Berber restaurant, you will savor a delicious lunch and drive back to Marrakech through another route to discover the beauty of the diversity of the landscapes in Morocco. Day 15: Marrakech – Airport
